* Triggered Steal effects

Unlike default rAthena behavior, Steal chance is additionally applied to the item's drop rate.

Effective steal chance:

Final Chance = Item Drop Rate × Steal Chance

Final Chance = Item Drop Rate × Steal Chance

Items with a final steal chance below '''0.01%''' cannot be stolen.
Items below '''0.01%''' final chance cannot be stolen.

Example:

An item with a '''0.03%''' drop chance:
Example for a '''0.03%''' drop:

* At '''10%''' Steal chance → '''0.003%''' final chance → cannot be stolen
* '''10%''' Steal chance → '''0.003%''' final chance → cannot be stolen
* At '''34%''' Steal chance → '''0.0102%''' final chance → can now be stolen
* '''34%''' Steal chance → '''0.0102%''' final chance → can be stolen

Because Ragnarok Plus uses rAthena-style sequential drop checks, items are evaluated from top to bottom in the monster drop table.
Drop rates are always rounded down to the nearest '''0.01%'''.

This means very high DEX is not always beneficial:
Example:

* Common items earlier in the drop table are much more likely to be stolen first
* Rare items lower in the table may never be reached

Example drop order:

0.01999% → 0.01%

* Jellopy → 55%
Items are checked sequentially from top to bottom in the monster drop table.
* Sticky Mucus → 15%
* Crystal Blue → 0.5%

If Jellopy succeeds its steal roll, the process stops immediately and lower items are never checked.
Higher DEX increases total Steal success, but also makes common items consume more successful steals before rare items are checked.

Approximate item distribution after many successful Steals against a monster with '''51 DEX''':

Higher DEX increases overall Steal success rate, but also makes early common drops consume a larger share of successful steals.

Steal Attempts to steal an item from the target.

Success chance is based on skill level, DEX, Base Level and monster level.

Steal formula reworked.

Steal success chance:

10 + 8 × (Skill Lv - 1) + (Your DEX - Target DEX) / 2 %

DEX now also affects Gank and triggered Steal effects.

Unlike default rAthena behavior, Steal chance is additionally applied to item drop chance:

Final Chance = Item Drop Rate × Steal Chance

Items below 0.01% final chance cannot be stolen.

Example for a 0.03% drop:

 • 10% Steal chance → 0.003% final chance → cannot be stolen
 • 34% Steal chance → 0.0102% final chance → can be stolen

Drop rates are always rounded down to the nearest 0.01%.

Example:

0.01999% → 0.01%

Items are checked sequentially from top to bottom in the monster drop table.

Higher DEX increases total Steal success, but also makes common items consume more successful steals before rare items are checked.

Example distribution of successful Steals against a monster with 51 DEX:

Your DEX Jellopy Sticky Mucus Crystal Blue
10 82.3% 17.1% 0.54%
110 88.0% 11.7% 0.34%

Use @stealrate or @sr to view steal chances.

Cards are excluded from the Steal table and cannot be stolen.
