Ragnarok+ Server Information
General
Ragnarok+ is built on classic mechanics with a modern soul: tradeoffs instead of templates, builds over metas, and social play at the core. Progression is lasting and account-wide: every character contributes to your legacy, and no content is lost to seasonal lockouts or forced resets.
Rates
Base rates are 1x with hand-tuned monster adjustments for flow. It often feels between 1x and 3x while retaining the meaningful pace of classic progression.
Progression
Our Achievements are account-wide, ensuring every step you take contributes to your overall progress. This design lets you complete everything at your own pace while reinforcing our focus on continuous account progression.
Fame System
The Blacksmith and Alchemist rankings automatically decay a little each week, meaning you need to stay active to maintain your position. This system also gives new players the chance to climb the rankings and compete with real opportunities for success.
Reputation System
Reputation is account-wide, making it especially valuable for new characters. Progress with one character benefits your entire account, giving every new start a helpful boost.
Story
Our server features a unique storyline that unfolds as you progress through the game. By following the story, you will unlock new content, instances, and challenges, making your journey more immersive and rewarding.
Leveling Curve
We smoothed the Job EXP leveling curve for first classes between job levels 40–50. This makes the final stretch significantly more enjoyable and encourages players to change at Job 50. You can achieve job 50 around base 59 or 60.
The party exp increeases by the number of members 1>100%, 2>125%, 3>175%, 4>215%, 5>240%, 6>255%, 7>265%, 8>275%, 9>300%, 10>325%, 11>350%, 12>375%
Content
Adventure
The world is filled with hidden treasures waiting to be discovered – some reveal themselves easily, while others reward patience, curiosity, and deep exploration.
Dungeons
We offer several custom dungeons, created by reworking Renewal resources into unique content. Our goal is to expand Classic RO in breadth rather than simply in length, giving players new places to explore and fresh challenges to face.
Hunting Quests
Hunting quests are designed to encourage players to explore the world and engage with its various challenges. By completing these quests, you can earn valuable rewards and enhance your character's abilities.
Instances
We are introducing story-driven instances that unlock as you progress through the main storyline. Once unlocked, they can be replayed for farming. Each instance comes with a specific objective and features at least one boss encounter.
Seasonal Events
Seasonal events bring the world to life during Halloween, Christmas, Saint Patrick's Day, Summer Fest and more – featuring themed quests, cosmetics and unique mechanics with meaningful, non pay-to-win rewards.
Systems & Quality of Life
Card Rebalancing
Many cards often go completely unused. To breathe new life into them, we've adjusted several effects – sometimes turning them into a weaker variant of stronger cards – so that they can find their place in the game and expand build variety.
Class Rebalancing
Many classes are limited to just one viable build – if any at all – while others feel too weak in comparison. To bring fresh variety, we've reworked certain skills, opening the door for new class builds and more diverse playstyles. Some Classes also got new skills further widening the options.
Cosmetic Pets
Pets on our server are purely cosmetic. They do not require food to survive and provide no additional effects, allowing you to freely choose the perfect companion to match your character.
Earth Element
For some reason, the Earth element in Classic RO always behaved differently from the rest, making it too inconsistent with the elemental system. We have aligned it with the other elements, which also restores value to Earth resistance cards and similar mechanics. See the changes here: Elements
Item Beams
When an item drops, more valuable or useful items can appear with a visible beam. The beam color depends on the item group, such as materials, weapons & shields, equipment, cards, and more.
Lending System
The Lending System allows players to safely lend their equipment without risk. Borrowed items cannot be modified by the recipient, and after the specified lending period, the items are automatically returned. This ensures a completely scam-free experience. For more informations: Lending
New Items & Reworks
A lot of equipment in Classic RO never found real use. Just like with cards, we have rebalanced and adjusted many of these items. In addition, we have introduced new items and unique combos to further expand build diversity and gameplay options.
Mount & Arealoot
We have introduced two new Platinum Skills for Novices, with quests available in and around Alberta. Mount allows you to ride a class-specific mount, while Arealoot lets you pick up all items on the same cell at once. Additionally, the Blacksmith's Greed skill gains a passive effect that extends the Arealoot range.
Shortcuts
There are location shortcuts that unlock additional routes once you clear a passage or complete a specific task, letting you travel faster and explore efficiently. Have a look here: Quick Travel
Cart Crafting & Brewing
Alchemists and Blacksmiths can craft directly from their Cart. Crafting menus automatically use materials in your cart, so you don't need to move items to your inventory – an impactful quality-of-life improvement for artisans. Also there is the option to bulk craft this can craft everything at ones according to the amount of ingreedients held in inventory and cart.
Social Features
Clans
By earning enough reputation with a clan, you can join it and gain a passive stat bonus. There are multiple clans to choose from, each offering different bonuses. The first reputation tier is required to become a member. Each clan also features a dedicated clan chat where all members can talk, coordinate, and exchange tips.
Party MvP
The MVP is not awarded to the single player with the highest damage, but to the party with the most total damage. This creates fairer competition in boss fights. All members of the winning party receive the EXP reward, while the MVP item goes to a random member of that party.
Modes
When creating a character, you can choose between Softcore or Hardcore mode. In Hardcore, a single death means your character is permanently dead. You can still walk around in-game, but you can no longer interact with the world: monsters are invisible, and only chatting with other players remains – serving as a reminder of what has been lost.
